HELET

Helet's been with us for just about 12 months. Through consistency and tenacity in her training and diet, she has seen a large weight loss and has gained both skill and strength.

 

Whatever the workout, she gives 110% and always does the best she can, never taking the easy way out. 

 

She took part in the CrossFit Open for the first time this year managing to RX two out of the five wod's, Impressing us all and more importantly it made her realise her potential as an athlete. 

 

We are looking forward to her kicking her Coaches asses in future wod's. 

Stronger, Faster, better than yesterday...

' I had some idea of what could be expected when I first joined CrossFit FT in Jun 2017, but looking back now, I really had no clue. My main goal was to lose weight and if I’d managed to get toned along the way that would just be a bonus. Boy, was I in for a treat!

​

Not only did I lose the weight but I also gained so much more. I was hooked from day one.

​

Fuaad & Tatiana have helped me break out of my old routine. I now live a more healthy, energetic and positive life thanks to their constant encouragement and support during my training.

Once you realize how much stronger you are getting it really becomes addictive. I, never in a million years, thought I would enjoy Olympic weight lifting. I love it. Workouts are always different and never boring. The community of people you train with is amazing, everyone on their own journey to a better self.

I think the most rewarding part is not the weight loss or the strength and skills that I’ve gained but my positive mind-set I now have every day. I feel ready to take on the world every morning when I wake up. I feel healthy and I no longer have body confidence issues. Strong is so much better than skinny.

​

I’ve also learnt a lot about how a negative mind-set can hold you back from things in life that you are actually totally capable of achieving. My coaches push me every day and without that encouragement I would never have realised my full potential.

 

When you realise that you are improving week on week it actually becomes second nature, knowing that you can do what you set your mind to. This does not only apply to my training but, now, to all aspects of my life. '
